System Wellness and Predictive Performance for IC Devices (Overview)
What are System Wellness and Predictive Performance?
System Wellness monitors the overall "health" of a chromatographic system. It provides built-in diagnostic and calibration features that help prevent unscheduled system shutdowns and assure reliable operation of system devices.
Predictive Performance provides various functions for estimating the lifetime of replaceable parts, and for monitoring and recording service and qualification information.
System Wellness and Predictive Performance commands are available on special panels and in the Commands dialog box.
System Wellness Features
Download of current, previous, or factory calibration data
Leak detector testing and calibration
Wavelength verification and calibration for UV and PDA detectors
Cell calibration for conductivity detectors
pH calibration for amperometry detectors
Warning when the flow is off while the detector lamp is on
Pressure offset and degas calibration for pumps
Flow rate calibration for pumps
Solvent and waste level monitoring
Predictive Performance Features
Lifetime forecast for replaceable parts
Integrated counters for monitoring several devices and module parameters
Reminder function for maintaining service and qualification periods
Warning messages when limits are exceeded
Graphical display for monitoring the service and qualification status
Storage of parameter data in the device firmware
Supported Devices
For System Wellness and Predictive Performance support, a device must have a version of Moduleware installed that supports these features.
